A soft and durable single-ply tweed yarn, spun from 100% mulesing-free merino wool and milled at a family-run wool mill in Italy. Use SoulMade Tweed I to create lightweight garments that feel cashmere-soft, with beautiful volume and a unique expression.
The colour palette ranges from soft neutrals to bright pops of colour. Pair it with Kid Seta or Cashmere Lace to accentuate or soften the colours to your preference.
SoulMade Tweed I is the result of years of expertise, craftsmanship and a desire to create an incredibly soft, lively single-ply tweed yarn with beautiful stitch definition.
We set out to create the tweed yarn we couldn’t find elsewhere: a single-strand yarn that doesn’t twist, exceptional comfort, and a harmonious balance between tweed flecks and base colour.

The lightly spun single-ply merino, combined with soft tweed flecks, creates a fabric reminiscent of cashmere: exceptionally soft, light and luxurious.
The cohesive colour palette ranges from soft, earthy neutrals to bright, vibrant shades. Each combination of base colour and tweed flecks has been individually selected by Sus, creating a harmonious and versatile fabric that is easy to pair with companion yarns.
SoulMade Tweed I is remarkably adaptable. The fibres bloom beautifully when blocked, allowing you to work across a wide range of needle sizes. Use smaller needles for a dense, structured fabric, or larger needles for something light, open and airy.
Sizing up your needles creates a lighter, softer and more fluid fabric while using less yarn, making it possible to create luxurious garments while keeping the overall yarn cost down.

Care
Soul Made Tweed is spun from pure wool, which stays beautiful with gentle care.
Wash your knit carefully using a detergent made for wool. Soak only briefly, and always rinse out the soap thoroughly.
Use a laundry bag when spin-drying. Reshape the garment after washing and dry flat to preserve its shape, surface and stitch definition as beautifully as possible.
