The sailor sweater is a regular classic in Scandinavian knitwear. The knitted sailor bobbles lend structure and help with isolation to keep more warmth on the upper body. Here, the sweater is knitted in a classic worsted weight wool; Sealord. The fit is traditionalle Nordic with a modified drop shoulder sleeve.

Circular needles 4½ mm, 80 cm, circular needles 5 mm (40 og 80 cm) and DPNs 5 mm

17 sts x 22-24 rows st st = 10 x 10 cm

 

Using a laundry wash bag, hand wash using a wool-friendly detergent and put through spin cycle. Dry flat.
