Reversible Raglan Sweater
Classic sweater with raglan sleeves worked bottom-up.
The purled side of the sweater may be turned outwards, and the neckband can be varied in height. The sweater is worked with to threads held together; one thread Kid Seta, a silk/mohair mix softening the sweater, and one thread of the following: either Pura Lana a wool/alpaca mix or CottonWool 5.
The choice of yarns gives a wide range of possibilities to vary the color, the safe option is yarns close to each other in color, with the Kid Seta in the same shade or lighter.

Yarn
The sweater is worked with two threads held together.
Thread 1 a yarn of DK to Aran Weight thickness e.g. one of the following: 6 (7, 7, 7, 8, 8) – [8 (9, 9)] skeins Pura Lana from Gepard, ecotex standard, 50 % alpaca, 50 % merino wool, 50 g = 115 m,
or
9 (9, 9, 10, 10, 11) – [11 (12, 13)] skeins CottonWool 5 from Gepard, pure soft cotton, 50 % extra fine merino wool, 50 g = 100 m.
Thread 2: a thin silk/mohair blend 4 (4, 4, 4, 4, 5) – [5 (5, 5)] skeins e.g. Kid Seta from Gepard, 70 % kid mohair/30 % silk, 25 g =210 m.
Needles
4mm (US 6) and 5mm (US 8) circular needles 80 cm (32") for the body. Either, seconds respectively 4mm (US 6) and 5mm (US 8) circular needles 40 cm (16") or sets of 4mm (US 6) and 5mm (US 8) double-pointed needles (dpn) for sleeves and neckband.
Change needle size if necessary, to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge
15 sts x 20rows = 10 cm (4") in stockinette stitch using 5mm (US 8) needles with Thread 1 and 2 held together.
