Needles
2.5mm (US 1½) circular needles 40 cm (16") for the body.
Size 3 mth only: 2mm (US 0) double-pointed needles (dpn) for the edge of the sleeve, eventually work tight on the 2.5mm (US 1½) needles.
Change needle size if necessary, to obtain correct gauge.
Gauge
30 sts x 44rows = 10 cm (4") in stockinette stitch using 2.5mm (US 1½) needles.
Fan Pattern (see chart p. 3) 21sts x 16 rnds = 6 cm (2½") x 3.5 cm (1½") using 2.5mm (US 1½) needles.
